ROYCE Chocos from Japan! yey! =D

I have been craving for Royce chocolates for the longest time but I never attempted to buy for myself 'coz I'm still hopeful that someone who find me special would give me even just a single bar or box haha!=))

Unfortunately, I got nothing from my suitors and friends. But luckily, two nights ago, my aunt and uncle from Japan arrived. I was surprised when they handed me a paper bag of Royce chocolates!!!

When I opened the bag, it had two boxes inside. One was the Royce' Potechi Crunch Chocolate, which I haven't tasted yet, and the Royce Pure Chocolate (Sweet & Milk), which was one of my faves from Royce.

Tita bought this from Narita Airport in Japan. Total amount she paid was 1320 Yen or about Php 646. It's really cheap, 'coz at Royce here in the Philippines, each box of Royce costs about Php 500. See the price difference?

Yey I'm so happy. haha! In fact, I haven't opened the boxes yet 'coz I was always away from home. hehe. But I'll be eating my Royce chocos this weekend.=)

Basketball Love

It's been a long time since I last played basketball at Timezone. Hmm I think I did better before. But given that I had no practice for the longest time, I think this score wasn't that bad at all.

Why missed a lot of shots? Well, my arms got weaker after my 1st try, wherein I only scored 55 points. What's surprising was that I got tired easily, like I found it hard breathing after my 2nd game. I remembered that I usually get tired that much only after my 3rd game.

I just realized it's a good exercise so I'll be playing more often now. haha! =P

While having a picnic, we saw Duncan of Southboarder jogging. He promised to take a photo with us on his 2nd round so we waited for him. haha! On his 2nd round, he told us to give him another round, but we insisted that we're about to leave already so he finally granted our request. Yeah, he's in all sweat but we didn't mind.=P

Had a daredevil moment as I took my friends' shots that they passed to me. Taking 4 straight shots of Bacardi was like jumping off a cliff. haha! (Well that's after having a glass of Apeach-7Up and 2 glasses of Long Island haha)

I can feel that 2010 is gonna be a really fun year! this is a proof! wee! I'm so excited for the rest of the year! =)

2010 Forecast for Rabbits

I just got curious on what the Year of Metal Tiger has in store for someone born on the Year of Rabbit like me. This is what I found:

The focus will be on the Rabbit's career and job prospects during the Year of the Tiger, with unexpected promotions and recognition very likely. Travel is also highlighted, with short breaks and spontaneous, fun trips featuring during the late Spring and early Summer. Healthwise, the Rabbit could find the speed of the Tiger year exhausting and it¡¯s important he balance work with rest and relaxation. Promotion at work or in the Rabbit¡¯s career will be sure to feature and they need to act quickly - no hanging back to see what happens! Some Rabbits will be dissatisfied with their current living arrangements and the perfect new home may appear most unexpectedly - they must act quickly and not miss out! Friendships will play a big role during 2010 with possibly one or two friends needing extra care and help. May and October to January will bring special and fun social gatherings. Starting the Year Right! =)

I didn't have photos of the New Year's Eve, which I celebrated at home with my family. Basically we just ate what we prepared for our Media Noche haha!

But at the night of the New Year itself, January 1, was another celebration. Some of my friends invited me to a cocktail party, which was exclusive to their closest friends whom they invited.

It was an awesome night! We celebrated New Year FORMALLY (literally!) haha! =P


I loved the sparkling wine, I learned to play poker, and I wore a formal dress haha! It was a night of making new friends...and having new travel buddies!

And it's amazing that nobody got drunk after we have taken so many kinds of alcohol. From a simple sparkling wine to a beer in can to Bacardi 151 to Absolut to Smirnoff to Sauza tequila!!!

It's been a wild 2009...but 2010 is gonna be even wilder!

Perfect Fit

I have never bought a single item from Dickies for the past 8 years. It was only now that I was forced to buy again just to be able to use my P 2000-worth of Gift Certificates at Dickies Concept Shop, which I won from our office raffle.

Right after winning the GCs, I knew that I won't go wrong if I''ll get jeans from the store. But before that, I had some troubles locating a Dickies shop that's most accessible to me. Until I found out that there's one at Farmers Cubao.

I got skinny jeans and shorts! It cost me P 1,200 for the jeans and P 899 for the shorts. I just added P 100 to my GCs.=) Look at these!

A Book to Inspire Leaders

Two days before Christmas, I got a gift from my boss. I opened it and saw that it was a sealed little book. But since I was too busy, I wasn't even able to take a peek of what's inside.

It was only yesterday that I opened the book and saw that it's filled with very inspiring quotes about leadership, and other quotes that are closely related to it.


The quotes are classified into several categories:
1. What is Leadership?
2. Character of a Leader
3. Keeping up with the Vision
4. Dreams, Plans, Goals.
5. The Leadership Challenge
6. The Winning Attitude
7. Leadership Influence
8. Success in Leadership
9. The Leader and His Family
10. The Leader and His God

And I was surprised that towards the end of our company's Strategy Planning Conference at The Peninsula Manila today, a great part of the closing remarks of our company President was sharing to us the quotes about the character of a leader. He was given the same book by my boss, which he brought to our conference. It was really inspiring for us, (the company's management committee) most especially when we realized how much he believes in us and how much he see us as leaders who will transform the company into a bigger and better one for 2010.

So, if you're stressed because of work, or pressured because of your responsibilities, this is a nice book to keep you in the mood and keep you aligned with your goals.

This was one of the best Christmas gifts I have received this year.=)
