Fast and the Furious 6 Red Carpet Premiere

We're so lucky to receive free movie premiere passes from Solar TV Network last May 15. I only knew about the free ticket from our friend at 5pm and the premiere was scheduled at 7:30pm. I had to rush all the way from Marikina to SM Mall of Asia just to see Vin Diesel LIVE!

The Fast and the Furious Cast -- Luke Evans, Gina Carano, Michelle Rodriguez, and Vin Diesel -- was welcomed by a huge crowd at the SM MOA Concert Hall. While they're going crazy outside, we were watching them from inside the cinema, as the event was being aired live on the big screen.

Then they all went inside the cinema for a couple of messages. And luckily, we got Vin Diesel to sign our VIP passes! Yey! They left and headed to Solaire for their dinner with the family of the Solar owners. My friend was there so she was able to take really nice photos with the cast. Lucky her. haha! But it's okay, 'coz I got an autograph!:))

As a review of the movie, well it's the best in the series so far! It was really heart stopping and the scenes got me screaming out of shock haha! Definitely a must-see!

Vans Summer Music Jam

It felt like my college days were relived when I attended the Vans Summer Music Jam in MOA Arena last May 11. I haven't attended a concert as such since I graduated from college. I enjoyed the concert because it was very entertaining.

The highlights for me were the green songs of Chongkeys, Teddy of Rocksteddy mocking Daniel Padilla and Bamboo, Moonstar 88's songs, Urbandub's awesome performance, and Jay of Kamikazee's ultimate kakulitan.

Thanks so much and congratulations again to Vans Philippines' team: Wendell, Thina, Mirrela, Paul, Soc, etc. Keep it up guys!:)

Behind the Scenes of PLDT's heyU

Do you remember these videos that went viral last February?

Well I was actually a part of the team behind these digital advertisements by PLDT's new product, heyU. It's actually a VoIP service that works like Viber, but this time, it's free to call landlines. Telpad users can download the app for free, while regular PLDT landline subscribers have to pay Php 100 on top of their monthly service fees (MSF) in order to avail of the service. Besides free landline calls, heyU also allows calling the US, Canada, and Hawaii for only Php 1.50/minute just like that of a budget card. A special rate of Php 5/min also apply for calls to Sun, Smart, and Talk N Text.

As part of the digital team that handled heyU, we were the ones who developed the online ads, and the videos as well. We were also the ones who conducted the "heyUpickMe" twitter promo that made one girl win a date with Daniel Matsunaga. However, I just left my job even before heyU's official press launch at White Space last April 24. But still, I felt happy that the brand I used to service had a successful launch. Too bad I was out of town so I wasn't able to witness it live. But thanks to social media, I got updated real time.

Anyway, it was an honour working with team heyU -- clients, agencies (digital, PR/media), production house (including the director, producer, editors). It was a quick yet fun experience for me. I met new friends and I've learned a lot too!:)

Mutya ng Cauayan in Isabela

In celebration of the Gaway-Gaway-yan Festival in Cauayan, Isabela, the Mutya ng Cauayan 2013 was held last April 11, 2013. My friend, Angelia Ong, co-hosted Tom Rodriguez in this pageant so we went on an overnight trip to Isabela via Cebu Pacific. It was a quick yet fun trip! Glad to have met new friends.:)
